South Shropshire MP Philip Dunne has been meeting local residents who have welcomed Ukrainian refugees into their homes in recent months.
Mr Dunne met hosts and visitors in Cleobury Mortimer, where the St Mary’s Church has coordinated help and holds weekly get togethers to share experiences of both hosts and their guests.
He said they discussed how well access to school has been and the challenges for local transport presents problems helping Ukranians with language lessons and employment opportunities.

He has also met the volunteer coordinator for hosts around Ludlow, and Help for Ukraine supporters in Bishops Castle.
