A baby allegedly attacked by nurse Lucy Letby reportedly had an "unusual" presence of blood and swelling in its throat.
The 33-year-old's accused of attempting to kill the infant - known as Child N - three times at the Countess of Chester Hospital's neo-natal unit in 2016.
She denies the murders of seven babies and the attempted murders of 10 others in a twelve month period.
The trial continues.
