KFC is aiming to open a drive-thru restaurant in Abergavenny by the end of 2020.
The fast food giant is looking to expand across the UK and has revealed it wants to open a site in Abergavenny.
A KFC spokesman said: "We have bold ambitions to have over 1,000 stores in the UK and Ireland by 2020 and we are looking to build over 50 new stores a year."
“We have a number of different formats and designs that are suitable for all locations. We strive to work with local communities and business’ to bring some finger lickin’ chicken to towns and cities across the country.”
