A police investigation has been launched following allegations of misconduct at Herefordshire Council.
A woman in her 40s who is an officer for the authority has been arrested and questioned on suspicion of willful misconduct.
West Mercia Police says the woman has since been bailed while the investigation continues.
In a statement, the authority said: 'Herefordshire Council is unable to comment on police investigations. We work with the police, as appropriate, during any investigation.'
