Police are investigating reports of gun shots in Bishop's Castle.
The incident happened on Saturday at around 2pm.
Local residents reported a large police presence in the area.
A force spokesperson said: "A thank you from PC Coote to residents of Bishop's Castle whilst officers dealt with a report of gun shots at 2pm today."
"Nothing found all appears in order."
"This involved a number of officers and resources to be deployed and increased activity."
