A Herefordshire man is wanted in connection with a hit and run incident in Malvern.
West Mercia Police are searching for 28-year-old Patrick Joseph O’Connor from Ledbury.
It is believed he is currently in the Birmingham city centre area.
He is wearing blue jumper with blue jeans and white trainers.
Police were called at 6.55am this morning following a collision on Abbey Road in Malvern.
The collision involved a green Ford Kuga and a grey Ford Fiesta. The Ford Kuga was travelling in the direction of Welland and the Ford Fiesta was travelling towards Malvern when they collided head-on.
The driver of the Ford Kuga fled the scene on foot.
The driver of the Ford Fiesta, a 42-year-old man, suffered serious injuries and has been transported to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham by ambulance.
A 28-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice in relation to the incident.
Anyone with information about Patrick’s whereabouts is asked to call 999 immediately.
