Fire crews from Herefordshire are responding to a wildfire.
A large grassland fire has broken out at Lickey Hills Country Park near Birmingham.
It's understood around 4,305 sq ft of land near the golf course is alight.
Twelve crews are tackling the blaze with firefighters from Hereford and Worcester have joining forces with others from Kings Norton, Woodgate Valley and Northfield to try and extinguish the flames.
The cause of the fire has not been confirmed.
Herefordshire and Worcester Fire Control have said: ‘HWFRS and West Midlands Fire and Rescue Service crews are currently fighting a fire in the open in the area of Rose Hill in Rednal in the Lickey Hills.
‘People are asked to stay away from the area – residents are asked to keep their doors and windows closed.’
