The annual Hereford May Fair has officially got underway.
A ceremonial proclamation opened the fair this afternoon with the offering 12-and-a-half bushels of wheat by the Mayor to the Lord Bishop as payment for allowing the fair to proceed.
A number of road closures are in place over the next few days including Broad Street, King Street and St Owen Street.
