18-year-old Sonny Griffiths from Credenhill pleaded guilty to assault on an emergency worker (police officer) and a female door supervisor.
The incident occurred happened in the early hours of Sunday 13th February on Commercial Road in Hereford.
Griffiths who was drunk at the time assaulted the door supervisor by punching her in the face after being refused entry to a licensed bar. After being detained he further assaulted a Police Officer by head-butting him.

Griffiths was sentenced to a 4 month curfew, directed to undertake 80 hours unpaid work, 20 days rehabilitation work, a 12 month Community Order and a 12 month Criminal Behaviour Order.
Jim Mooney, Police Community Harm Officer said: "Griffiths was drunk at the time of the incident and had no regard to the rights of licensed premises to refuse entry to an individual, he was further violent when detain. Both assaults caused injuries to the door supervisor and the Police Officer. This type of behaviour is totally unacceptable and it is hoped that Griffiths learns the lessons of his violent conduct. The fact he is banned from licensed premises has been shared with the local pub watch scheme – HAND – (Herefordshire Against Night-Time Disorder) who are encouraged to report any breaches."
