Hereford’s High Town is set to shine in full technicolour next month as Hereford City Council and Sunshine Radio team up once again for the Hereford Christmas Lights Switch-On Show, supported by Cotswold Motors.

The free family event takes place on Saturday, November 16, from 3:15pm, with a packed afternoon of live music, local talent, and festive fun leading up to the big switch-on at 5pm.

Headlining this year’s show are the Fast Food Rockers – the colourful pop trio behind the early-2000s hit “Fast Food Song” – who promise to bring their trademark energy and family-friendly fun to the stage.

Local favourites will also take centre stage, including the Hereford Rock Choir, Finn McGowan, and students from the One Vision School of Arts, alongside Sunshine Radio’s house band, Superficial Damage, performing party anthems to get the crowds dancing.

Families can look forward to a special appearance from Bluey and Bingo, offering photo opportunities for the little ones, and a free audience draw for a chance to win a family ticket to Lakefest 2025 at Eastnor Castle.

Sunshine Radio Station Manager Mark Edwards said the collaboration marks the 16th anniversary of the partnership between the station and Hereford City Council.

“We’re proud of our long-running association and the stars we’ve brought to High Town – from S Club and Liberty X to Lucy Spraggan and Eternal,” he said.

“This year we’re going full colour and poptastic with the Fast Food Rockers and some amazing local talent to make it a night to remember.”
