A surgeon who lied in order to get a job at Alexandra Hospital has been jailed for fraud.
Sudip Sarker, 48, lied about the number of keyhole surgical procedures he had carried out over his career in order to get a job as a general surgeon at Alexandra Hospital in Redditch.
Sarker, of Broadway Road, Broadstairs, Kent, was convicted of fraud by false representation at Worcester Crown Court and sentenced to 6 years in jail.
