Midwives and proud parents celebrated the perfect Christmas gift as five babies were born at Hereford County Hospital on Christmas Day.
Hospital midwives and local families were delighted to welcome the Christmas Day deliveries with the first being born shortly before 7am.
As is the tradition at the hospital, the family was given a special Christmas bauble to remind them of the birth in years to come, and the little ones were also given a Christmas hat!
Abbi Maddox, interim lead midwife at WVT, said: “We were delighted to celebrate Christmas Day with the arrival of our special Christmas babies born at Hereford County Hospital.
“Every baby is a blessing and Christmas babies have a very special birthday. It was lovely to present the family with their special bauble and Christmas hat.”
“Our community midwifery and health visiting teams continue to provide specialist support to parents and their baby when they return home, including help and advice on infant feeding and caring for your baby.”
