Monmouthshire farmers are invited to a timely NFU Cymru bovine TB meeting organised to help clarify and explain the details of the Welsh Government’s refreshed bovine TB eradication strategy.
The meeting, to be held on Monday, 10 July, at 7.30pm, will be held at the Three Salmons, Usk. This will be an ideal time to discuss the changes outlined for cattle keepers in the county and Dylan Morgan NFU Cymru Deputy Director/Head of Policy will be present to outline the next steps for bovine TB in Wales and offer a question and answer session.
Ian Williams, Monmouthshire NFU Cymru County Chairman said: “We are very grateful to Dylan Morgan for agreeing to present to members in Monmouthshire. I would encourage all farmers in the area to come along to learn exactly what the new measures will mean for their farming business, especially as Monmouthshire now comes under the new High TB Area.
“I would like to remind everyone that this meeting is open to all NFU Cymru members but it is also a great opportunity for non-members to come along and see the work NFU Cymru does, so please bring your friends and neighbours along.”
