A drugs courier transporting a kilo of cocaine from Liverpool into South East Wales has been jailed.
Karl Edmondson was stopped by officers on the A40 between Raglan and Abergavenny in March.
The 31-year-old was carrying two packages of cocaine with a street value of up to £40,000 in his car.
He pleaded guilty to the possession of cocaine with intent to supply and was jailed for four years and six months.
Edmondson is due to face a Proceeds of Crime Act hearing on September 20.
