Malvern police officers are appealing for information or witnesses following a fail to stop road collision on the A449 at Newlands.
The incident took place around 6.40am on Friday 24 January when a cyclist, who was travelling towards Malvern, was knocked off his bike by a passing vehicle. He suffered fractures to his fingers as well as bruising. The driver of the vehicle failed to stop at the scene.
Sergeant Simon Hallam, of West Mercia Police, said: “Our enquiries into this incident are on-going but we believe that there may have been other drivers travelling along the road at the time who may well have witnessed the incident. I’d like to appeal to them to get in touch.”
If anyone has information that would assist the police with their enquiries please call Sergeant Hallam of the Malvern Hills Safer Neighbourhood Team on 07811 749550.
