People in Ludlow and surrounding areas will be able to tune into Sunshine Radio on DAB in future.
Ofcom has awarded a new small-scale radio multiplex licence for Ludlow to Murfin Media (Digital) Limited.
The independent owners of Sunshine Radio won the bid with plans for the service to be transmitted from Clee Hill.
The DAB service will allow listeners in the Ludlow, Cleobury Mortimer and Tenbury Wells area to receive DAB radio stations including Sunshine Radio and Radio Wyvern.
Sunshine Radio will continue to broadcast in the area on 105.9FM, 107.8FM and 855AM.
Regulators say the multiplex must be in operation within the next 18 months.
