Shropshire Council’s risk, insurance, and resilience team has been recognised for their excellence in risk and resilience management at the prestigious national ‘ALARM’ awards.
Sweeping the boards, they won an incredible three of the eight awards that celebrate risk practitioners from across the UK public and third sectors.
Shropshire Council were named national winners of the Resilience Planning Award, national winners of Team of the Year, as well as being shortlisted for the Innovation Award.
Topping the celebrations, Jane Cooper, risk & business continuity team leader, was awarded the highest accolade of the evening: UK Risk Professional of the Year.
The council was commended for their responses over the past two years, managing many concurrent challenges, whilst ensuring continuous delivery of services within the community.
