Hereford Racecourse has confirmed that its meeting on Tuesday 24th March will be held behind closed doors.
Racing’s governing body the British Horseracing Authority (BHA) earlier announced all racing in Scotland, England and Wales would take place without spectators and with attendance limits until March 31.
A spokesperson for Hereford Racecourse said: "We would like to apologise for the inconvenience this causes, but no one beyond the minimum essential staff required to operate the raceday will be admitted. Unfortunately, racehorse owners will not be permitted entry to the site, as will anyone who turns up on the day."
Anyone who has booked tickets or hospitality for this raceday will be offered to transfer their booking or receive a full refund. In this instance, please contact info@hereford-racecourse.co.uk or call 0143273 560.
