Town councillors in Ross-on-Wye have pledged to do their bit to fight climate change.
Ross town council says it will make all its activities carbon neutral by 2023 and they hope to achieve 100% clean energy across their non-transport functions.
Carbon neutral refers to achieving net zero carbon dioxide emissions by balancing emissions with carbon removal or by eliminating carbon emissions altogether.
Mayor Jane Roberts said they will also establish a working group of councillors and community representatives to develop an action plan for a zero-carbon and wildlife-rich town.
The council also calls on the newly elected Herefordshire Council to enact policies to respond to the climate emergency they declared earlier this year.
