Hereford City Council has agreed to make emergency donations of £10,000 each to four local clubs who have been hit by the recent flooding.
The clubs are Hinton Football Club, Westfields Football Club, Hereford Rugby Club and Hereford Sea Cadets.
At the meeting the Mayor and members of Council agreed that all of these clubs make a massive contribution to the life of the local community especially among young people and it was right for the Council to give them some immediate assistance as they struggle to get back into operation after suffering serious damage to buildings and equipment.
