Police in Abergavenny are appealing for information following reports of a cat being deliberately wounded on Ross Road.
Sometime between 12:00pm Friday 18th August and 1:00pm Saturday 19th August 2017 the victim’s cat went outside and when they returned the injuries were discovered.
The cat has wounds to the their front right hand shoulder causing pain and discomfort.
It’s believe the injuries could be the result of a pellet gun.
The feline has since been taking to vets and has received treatment.
As you can imagine this incident has caused distress to the cat’s owner and officers ask anyone with information to call 101 quoting log: 375 24/08/17.
