Welsh Water Cymru says a burst water main has affected drinking water supplies to customers in the Ross On Wye area.
A Welsh Water spokesperson said: "We received a report of a burst water main in the Waterside area of Ross-on-Wye in the early hours of this morning.
"We have a team currently on site to repair the burst and have restored supply to the majority of customers affected.
"We apologise to all customers affected for any inconvenience caused and are working to complete the repair as soon as possible."
UPDATE: Welsh Water have confirmed that supply was restored to all remaining properties in the affected area in Ross-on-Wye earlier this afternoon.
