Police responded to reports of a car being driven on railway tracks in Herefordshire.
The incident happened in the Marden area at around 3am on Sunday.
Officers received a call that a car had driven up the railway tracks at the Marden / Wellington Crossing in Hereford. The driver / occupants had left the scene leaving the vehicle in situ.
In an update, West Mercia Police said the vehicle had been recovered and the driver was located some time later.
The person was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after failing a Road Side Breath Test.
