Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal incident on the A438 in Letton on Friday.
Police were called around 12.30pm to reports of a serious incident at the junction of the A438 and Kinley Lane.
The A438 at Letton was blocked between the A4111 junction and Letton Court while emergency services attended the scene.
The man, in his 40s, is believed to have sustained serious injuries following attempts to repair his fork lift truck at the side of the road and sadly died at the scene.
