Police in Hereford are keen to identify a potential key witness to an attempted burglary.
At around 6am somebody attempted to gain access to a property on Welbeck Avenue by smashing a window. The person was dressed in all black and wearing a face covering.
They made off without entering the address and nothing was stolen.
Officers want to speak to a dog walker who was seen in the area at the time of the incident who may have witnessed the attempted burglary and may have information which could help. The dog walker was walking from Folly Lane towards Seaton Avenue.
Nearby residents are asked if they could check their CCTV or doorbell footage for any suspicious activity. Anyone else who witnessed anything suspicious is also asked to contact police. Please call PC Daniel Ovel on 07929 721340 or email
