 
                            Police are appealing for witnesses of criminal damage that took place in the Forest of Dean last week where the windscreen of a van was smashed.
Officers were contacted at 6.30am on Wednesday 20 October with a report of a van windscreen having been smashed with a rock overnight.
It is believed the incident, which happened on Heywood Road in Cinderford, took place sometime between 10pm on Tuesday (19 October) and 6.30am on Wednesday (20 October). However, it is believed it may have taken place around 11pm on Tuesday night.
Investigating officers have completed a number of enquiries since the incident but are yet to identify the suspect and are now appealing for witnesses.
