Police are appealing for information after a woman was pushed over in Ebbw Vale.
At around 2pm last Friday 26th January, a woman was walking along Bethcar Street in Ebbw Vale close to the public toilets and Greggs the Bakery when a man ran up behind her and pushed her to the ground. Thanks to the help of passers-by, the offender ran off.
The offender was wearing all black and was wearing a baseball cap.
The victim received scrapes to her face and hands and although shaken, was not seriously hurt.
Officers are investigating and would ask for anyone that saw this incident or if you saw someone matching this description running through the town centre to contact them.
