A nurse from Hereford accused of murdering eight babies on a neonatal unit has appeared in court ahead of her trial.
32-year-old Lucy Letby, of Arran Avenue, Hereford, denies murdering five baby boys and three girls at the Countess of Chester Hospital between June 2015 and June 2016.
There is a reporting restriction banning naming the five baby boys and three girls allegedly murdered by Letby.
Ms Letby appeared via videolink at Chester Crown Court where she spoke only to confirm her identity.
A trial in Manchester is due to start on 4th October and is scheduled to last six months.
