Event organisers have asked for a licence to sell alcohol and host live music and dance events at Shobdon Airfield.
Unique Venues Limited have applied to Herefordshire Council’s licensing sub-committee and councillors are expected to consider the proposals next Friday (June 6).
They want an occasional premises license to allow for indoor plays and outdoor performances of music and dance events for the Shobdon Food and Flying Festival from July 5 to 7 this year.
The applicants also seek permission to sell and supply alcohol for consumption on the premises.
Hereford and Worcester Fire Authority has objected to the plans subject to an event management being sent to them that includes occupancy calculations, exit widths and density figures for all the marquees and site enclosures.
