Step back in time this weekend as Acton Scott Heritage Farm proudly announces its first Hay Making Festival. This family-friendly weekend celebrates the age-old traditions of hay making with working demonstrations, horse-drawn machinery, and immersive rural experiences in the heart of the Shropshire Hills.
Highlights include:
• Horse-drawn demonstrations, including hay raking and loading
• Hand scything supported by the Marches Meadow Group
• Live rural craft demonstrations and information stands
• Local food and refreshments from the on-site café
• Folk music performances
