Could you bring a little joy and happiness to children, young people and their families in the Brecon and Ystradgynlais area this Christmas?

Powys County Council, Children’s Services are seeking donations from the local community to support the annual appeal for toys and gifts, to ensure no child misses out at this Christmas.

Residents are being urged to donate new toys for children aged 0-13, baby clothes, make-up, hoodies or toiletries for teenagers.  All donations will be greatly appreciated and will make a difference to children and young people this Christmas.

Councillor Rachel Powell, Cabinet Member for Children's Services, adds: “I would like to encourage as many individuals, charity groups, organisations and local businesses as possible to get involved once again this year to make Christmas a special one for children and young people who otherwise would not experience the excitement that Christmas brings’
